There was an awesome article in yesterday’s times about private equity firms and real estate in New York.
I don’t have a ton to say about it, except that maybe, just maybe, the imperatives of profit-seeking faceless private equity firms aren’t the best foundations upon which to design a city and provide humans with one of their most basic needs.
