A Sad Day for Octopi Everywhere

Paul the Octopus has died. We extend our tentacles in fraternal mourning. Or however octopi express grief.

Squeezing through small holes? Attacking some weenie canadian diver? Killing a shark? As the emotionally complex cephalopods we are, sometimes we take our existential pain out in strange ways.

“No funeral arrangements have been made, but Porwoll said Paul would be kept in cold storage until the staff at the center decided how best to memorialize him.”

I, personally, suspect foul play by the Dutch.
